Dr. Sophia Hendricks is a dual board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner whose career reflects a longstanding commitment to delivering compassionate, comprehensive, and evidence-based care. With extensive experience across diverse healthcare settings, she brings a unique whole-person perspective to the treatment of mental health conditions.
Dr. Hendricks began her healthcare career in 2009 and earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus. She subsequently expanded her clinical expertise into psychiatric and mental health care, earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Psychiatric-Mental Health.
Before specializing in psychiatric care, Dr. Hendricks practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner in both hospital and outpatient settings, caring for patients across the lifespan. This broad medical foundation strengthens her ability to recognize the complex relationship between physical health, emotional well-being, lifestyle, and psychiatric symptoms.
As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Hendricks provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing treatment for individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, schizophrenia, and other complex psychiatric conditions.
